International Travel Add-On not working
I purchased the International Travel Add-On, but I am not receiving text messages from the U.S. where my phone is based. If I try to make a call to a US number, the connection can't be made. I am presently in Japan, and I have checked that the area where I am has coverage: "Off-net voice service". How do I get the International Travel Add-On to work?

Prepaid does not roam in Japan. That international travel add on is only for select European and Caribbean countries, not Japan or anywhere else in Asia. Sorry to say, you wasted your money. If you have WiFi calling activated, it might work from Japan but otherwise, your prepaid service will not work from Japan.

Thank you. I see where I went wrong; I changed the tab from "prepaid" to "international" on the link: https://www.att.com/maps/wireless-coverage.html?tab=prepaid. That mistake cost $35. IMHO, "International Travel" is a misnomer at best; more like false advertising.
