I got tricked into a prepaid plan.

I have been with AT&T about a year, and I admire loyal customer service provided by the representatives, but on the date of 27th September 2019, I was deceived into a prepaid plan with autopay by a conniving retail sales consultant.

On the said date, I entered the AT&T retail store looking for a new unlimited data wireless telecommunication network plan. The sales consultant told me about $40 prepaid plan with autopay, that will give me unlimited data. He denied my request when I asked for the plan in printing for more information. He deluded me with false information that sounds like a perfect plan for me. I was so excited until I came home and checked online only to find out I was tricked. I feel that he took advantage of me after a long day of work on Friday afternoon.

I called 611 asking for a refund and cancel the prepaid plan that I was entered by the fraudulent service from AT&T retail store, but it was declined because the payment was made at the store. I feel like a fool trusting him. I don't even know if honesty is in AT&T corporate ethics. I hope somebody will reach out to me in order to investigate this matter and make sure such an incident is not repeated.

Prepaid does not refund. Simply turn autopay off and use your plan for a month and leave or change plans or do whatever. It’s not like you are on a contract, you can leave at anytime. File an FCC or BBB complaint if you want to pursue further. It is very unlikely anyone from ATT will contact you from your post here.

I figured that as much after reading the plan description last night. I just can't believe I got scammed by AT&T retail sales consultant inside the AT&T retail store. I have that person's business card. Is there a way to write a review about him?

Wait, what?    He told you about the plan and you were happy with it.  So what were you happy about?

So what are you now not happy with?  Or what wasn't as you expected?

@lizdance40 Pretty sure the OP is upset because “The sales consultant told me about $40 prepaid plan with autopay, that will give me unlimited data.”. The $40 plan is the 8GB plan.
