I did the 8GB per year plan for $300 and now my phone doesn't work

Hi, I am hoping that you guys can help me. My phone doesn't work and I don't know anyone in the city. I did the $300 deal for the 12 months and now my phone doesn't work at all. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. and I dealt with Comcast. 

When they activated my phone the lady that I was talking to seems lost and didn't know what to do. This lady didn't know what she was doing at all. She talked about the mistakes that she has done in the past with transferring numbers and didn't want to do that to my number. I knew something was wrong because my phone cut off during the call. 

Then my phone stopped working. The only number that I could call is 611. So I kept calling the 611 number and the people couldn't help me. Some of them told me to wait. Others told me that they couldn't find my account #. and others said that my payment didn't go through. I tried to pay for it with my phone and they couldn't do anything. They also asked for my pin, but all the numbers that I gave them(including the last 4 of my phone number) didn't work. 

I thought the best choice is to go to a store. The store I went to couldn't help me because they are an affiliate store and kept saying that I should have come to the store instead of online. When I told them about my experience with customer service. She said that's the type of service that I should expect from customer service at ATT. Then they told me to go to a corporate ATT store and they could help me. How is ATT this BAD? I had cricket in the past and it was much better. 

So I did. The people at the corporate ATT store said they couldn't help me. They thought I was on the $25 year plan. I wanted to give them one more chance, so I contacted them on Facebook and went back and forth. I gave them all the information. I talked to three Social Media Specialists they gave me a number to call but.... I already told them that I can only call 611. Then they just ignored me 
The issue is that they didn't charge me for the $300 and they are not able to charge me for it now. I called the customer service again and again and they were rude and disrespectful. Is this a normal thing? not sure what to do now. I no longer have a phone that works and I am at the library to solve this issue.

  • And what was the phone that was activated? 
  • Did you port your number from a different carrier?

I am going through the same thing. Is the $300 plan a hoax? I paid for the plan and the SIM 2 days ago. The SIM came today, but my account says $0 and when I tried to pay I got a fraud alert. NO CHAT on this site? Unreal!
