How to stop text this text alert: “AT&T Free Msg: Your AT&T PREPAID plan renewal was successful.”

How can I stop receiving this text message from AT&T Prepaid? “AT&T Free Msg: Your AT&T PREPAID plan renewal was successful. Your next payment date is 06/07/18. To manage your account, go to att.com/myprepaid”

I'd be happy to guide you through the proper steps to manage your notifications and alerts. Please select customize data and talk usage alerts, then, continue with the steps given; this way you can toggle to turn off or on any alert you'd like.

This "solution" doesn't work. 

 

If I click on the link you gave, and then I click on"customize data and talk usage alerts", I just get another useless page with more instructions that don't work. Btw, it would have been so difficult to link directly to the page you meant? Here is the URL:

So if you go there to go to "Profile" and has a link. That link takes me to the "myATT" page, and btw, it forces me to "login" again every single freakin time that I click on that link, no matter how many previous times I have already logged in to the exact same freaking page. So... after irritating me again for the umpteenth time and making me login to the exact same page for the bajillionth time, I once again click on "Profile & Settings". Notice that there is nothing on the page called "Profile". The only tab that sounds similar is "Profile & Settiongs". So fine, I click on that. Then the instructions say to find "Communication preferences". And right there we have a problem. There is absolutely nothing on this page that has that phrase in it. The most promising option is "Account Info & Preferences". So I went there (and to every other section as well) and there is absolutely nothing anywhere that says "communication preferences" or anything of the sort. There is an "end of call notification" but that is already set to OFF and the only other option is to set the language.

 

In other words, AT&T really doesn't want to give customers an option to stop receiving all extremely irritating twice-a-month messages (one message to tell me that they are going to take a monthly payment, and another to tell me that they took a monthly payment).

 

Please fix this. If there really is a way to stop getting those messages, please tell me what it is. If not, please tell me which of your competitors I need to move my business to in order to have some peace.

I have a prepaid, im not seeing customize data and talk usage alerts anywhere on the gophone site.
