How much are the taxes on the 1 year prepaid plan?

Does anyone know how much the monthly taxes would be if I prepay $300 for the 1 year 8 GB plan? The cart only shows taxes of 30 cents for the SIM card. I live in Reading, PA. The state sales tax rate is 6%, but don't know what other taxes and fees are added.

Hi @Voyager62,

Thank you. After reviewing this plan on our end, we see that the taxes and fees are included in the cost. Therefore the $305,29 is the valid amount. Hope this clarifies.

Thank you for reaching out to us today. We don't have an exact amount of the taxes you'll pay. Since they'll vary from state to state, they're calculated at the point of sale. However, if your sales tax is 6%, that'll probably be around $18. Allow another $20-$25 for the other fees. You'll have an opportunity to see the exact figure during checkout before you complete the payment.

No it didn't. The final cost at checkout was $305.29. Today it shows that the SIM card is free and there is a $50 account credit. If this is enough to pay for the taxes for the entire year, then fine, but if it isn't I'd still like to know how much more I'd have to pay since other carriers include taxes in the monthly fee.

There's is a link in "See details" popup that shows an estimate of additional fees. If they percents are on the $300 and the dollar fees are multiplied by 12, the total fees are $133.80-$50=$83.80 credit, bringing the true cost per month to $31.99. While this is a descent discount over the $40 including taxes and fees I now pay at Metro, I would be going from unlimited to 8 GB and give up the other perks for better coverage. If you have all the amounts, why can't you specify the actual total in the cart as you suggested instead of low-balling the offer?
