Does an MVNO's service differ from the MNO it buys service from?

Does an MVNO like straight talk or cricket offer the same quality of service that AT&T would& being that they bought the service from AT&T?  If not, how do they differ?  Is the LTE coverage the same?

Cricket isn’t an MVNO as it’s wholly owned by ATT.

But no.  They sell their own plans with their own limitations and own coverage.

Exactly how good they are, I don’t know as I don’t use an MVNO.  You might get a better answer from a cricket user who had ATT in the past.
