Could I refund my prepaid balance?

Hi! I'm an exchange student and not accustomed to the wireless service in US, so I ask for experts kind help!

Since I go back to my home country on May 14th and my $50 plan will be renewed tomorrow (5/7), I changed my plan to daily plan ($2 per day, in total, $16 for 8 days)

I waited until the day before renewal since it was recommended to wait until the last day not to lose days.

However, I found that my autopay already charged me $50 and after I change my plan, it goes to my balance and they say it will be expired at August.

However, I really don't need this money anymore since I go back to my country and I just want to get refund!

Could you give me precious advice with my situation?

Let's look into that for you, @lucky9073!

We like to advise that per AT&T PREPAID Terms of Service account balance is not refundable and is forfeited at expiration date.

We hope this info helps.
