Calls and texts

I'm not sure what's going on with my phone will not let me call out at all . I can't send or receive any calls or texts. I need to reload my a ccount but in order to get the twerporay pin number I would need to be able to receive texts

Try these tips to fix problems making and receiving phone calls with AT&T PREPAID:

Turn your phone off and back on.
Make sure you have service in your area. Check out the AT&T PREPAID Coverage Map.
Activate your AT&T PREPAID account, refill your minutes, or renew expired AT&T PREPAID plans at the AT&T PREPAID Support Center.
If this is a new phone or SIM card, learn how to activate a device. If your service is suspended, learn how to reactivate AT&T PREPAID service.

If you need to reload your account, AT&T text messages are free and you will still get them. Just go ahead and proceed with your refill.

The only time you will not receive a free text message from AT&T is if your account was canceled
