AT&T in car wifi VIN not found.

Hello,

   I have been trying to get the unlimited hotspot plan for my car since I saw it was on special for $15/month for the prepaid service but I came to an issue where it says "VIN not found. Please Enter a valid VIN." I have checked the VIN number multiple times and confirmed that it was correct. I have no idea how to progress if it does not accept my VIN. Note that my vehicle is registered on FordPass and I can undoubtedly say that I even have it memorized because of how many times I attempted to set this up. If anyone has any answers as to how to get my VIN recognized I would really appreciate the help.

Same problem with my Dodge - only ATT - RAM - Sirius and Unconnect are all passing the problem off to one another saying that it is someone else's problem. I'll be (Edited per community guidelines) if one of these guys won't fix this problem. SICK AND TIRED of the run around and want it fixed NOW.

Same issue, 2021 toyota, I'm writing the vin exactly as it is and at&t says its not a vin. I've double checked multiple times. How do i get wifi if it can't even figure this out.

Co I had the same problem with my Volvo, Call the manufacturer and have them release the VIN as a new vehicle regardless if new or used in the system and also get them to reset the SIM card or send a new one

Did you call the dealership of volvo USA?   How do they get vin submitted ?  I have a brand new 2022 volvo and have spent 2 weeks trying to get the VIN accepted….ATT says mfg….volvo USA says it is att

I used my app for my Volvo and did it directly through the app on my phone. It takes a few days to update in the system but their customer service is amazing. And it worked perfect. Once it updates your golden. You can do it through Onstar too I believe but that’s how I did it. I purchased my plan and it was on no issues.
