AT&T charged me but fail to renew

I've been using $50 plan with $5 discount from autopay.

On March 27th, AT&T charged my bank account with the same monthly rate and I got a text message saying that my payment was successful.

Then yesterday I got another message saying that my plan did not renew. It said "Hmm...something isn't working on our end and your plan didn't renew."

But I did not change or update anything for the past few months. AND there's enough money in my debit card. AND the $43.11 for this month has been charged!!!! But the renew succeeded at first, and then failed???? I have no idea what's going on??? What should I do????

I do not want to change another car or another plan and get charged again, because I heard someone else have been double billed before.

Since the money has been taken by AT&T for this month, I want my plan service!!!!....

Hello @Zeqing,

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why your PREPAID plan did not renew after you were charged. We'll be sending you a private message to request account information shortly.

If you are on a $50 plan, with an auto pay discount of $5, and your card was charged $43.11 and the renewal failed, it would seem to me that $43.11 was not enough to renew the plan. Maybe you have the $50 8GB plan with a $10 autopay discount and then get charged additional $3.11 for taxes? Seems to me that should of worked, but hopefully customer service gets you taken care of. Could have been a glitch, but I hope you will report back and let us know .
