$50 monthly plan/Data not working

I just purchased a $50 prepaid card, added the minutes to my phone, received the conformation text that the refill went through. BUT my data is not working, i have 4 bars of service so it should be working, i can send texts and receive and make phone calls but nothing i try to use my data for is working. I called 611 to make sure it took effect and it tells me im on the $50 monthly plan with 8 gigabites of data to use. I have turned the phone off and on multiple times thinking if i restarted it that it would fix the issue but it didnt. Had i known this was the issue i wouldve just purchased the $35 monthly plan and not wasted my money. Any other solutions i can try until i can get a customer service rep to help figure out whats going on??????

If you're able to make and receive incoming and outgoing calls and text messages and you've already verified the refill amount is applied to your PREPAID account then your data experience is likely with your mobile device.

  • What is the make and model of your device?
  • When you try to access the web what happens? Do you receive an error message when trying to use your data for something else?
