Upgrade from i phone 6 to 11

My daughter has a pre paid plan at UF in Gainesville and her phone is giving trouble and she would like to upgrade it or purchase and iphone 11 but is being told that she cannot do that because of her existing plan. What can she do to get a new phone?

Don’t buy from ATT. Buy from Apple or any other retailer. ATT just won’t sell an iPhone 11 unless you buy it on a payment plan which prepaid can’t do.
