Prepaid ATT plan customer-- NEED PHONE UPGRADE-- None available
Hi there, I have been looking online for a week now for the Iphone 7 to be in stock to purchase outright for 249.99. I have had the prepaid plan through ATT for years now. Iphone 7 is the only apple upgrade option. Can I order a phone through ATT? I am in need of a device... thoughts??

Oh wow. So existing prepaid customers cannot get an upgrade through AT T ? Only new customers get the up front purchase ?

It seems to allow me to try and purchase the 7, it’s just been out of stock

Well (Edited per community guidelines). Apparently I didnt read the fine print when I signed up for Go Phone LOL. So odd you cant upgrade though through ATT.

Iphone 7 is already 5 generations old. If you can buy something more current, you should.
AT&T does make buying a new phone without sim and plan a pain in the neck.
You have the right to buy anywhere that sells compatible phones
