Outgoing Text/Messages
I have an iPhone SE with the prepaid plan. My AT&T prepaid account history shows outgoing text/messages to 1C0DE94183566 which I did not initiate. I was charged $2 each day it occurred. What is this code and how do I stop it.

Based on what's going on with your account, we'd like to take a closer look at your account @harrysteve. Please check your Direct Message Inbox (it’s the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).
In the meantime, we'd suggest blocking that phone number and installing the AT&T Mobile Security app. The AT&T Mobile Security app scans your mobile device and all apps for malware. It looks for Trojans, worms, spyware, and other suspicious software. Mobile Security scans on demand and every time you download a new app. If you select Monitor File Settings, Mobile Security also constantly checks your files for anything suspicious.
Please keep an eye out for the PM.

I have the exact same issue where I have been charged almost daily for outgoing text to 1C0DE94183566 that I did not initiate. I called AT&T for help, but I still have the issue and get charged.
Hi @harrysteve, have you sorted out the issue yet?

i got exactly the same issue! it happened 5 months ago and i called at&t at the time and got no help. it happened again today! i don't know how can i block a number like 1C0DE94183566 on my iphone. it didn't call me or text me, it just use my phone to text to it without my permission! it seems the same issue happened to other people(https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/94183566), can't at&t do anything and found out who is behind this number and keep stealing our credit??

I believe mine started about 5 months ago also. Every 2 to 3 days my account is reduced $2 for these text messages. I tried everything AT&T suggested but nothing worked. They also stated to block the number (I asked how do you block an outgoing only number? - no answer). If anyone knows how to stop this please post here.

Recently upgraded to a 5G eligible iphone, hv had a prepaid account for yrs, immediately started to hv problems with this 1C0DE number, I blocked it but immediately it began using my phone to text (ITSELF) back to the 1C0DE on its own, charging me every time. I called at&t & they find it VERY suspicious but suggest I change my phone number. Great? They said it's a call made from a phone number from a computer. It's not giving me much faith in at&t.

It appears that several people have the exact same problem with this code. After about 15 years with AT&T if they don't resolve this issue soon I will be changing to another carrier.

At&t was a frontrunner in 5G which pushes everyone into smart phones which are becoming very easy to hack & it's worth it for them, they get lots of info they can use against you & to stuff to break into, why can't you just have a simple phone that does calls/text now?? I'm not so sure this person isn't getting into my contacts as one contact on my list was locked out of their iphone & my apple ID flashed on both our phones. This 1C0DE person could be up to almost anything. Blocking them with an iphone makes them YOUR contact - that is concerning.
At&t could be doing this also to get you to leave or package up & discourage against pay by phones which they don't make as much money.

I have the same issue ! It just happened twice again. At&t must do something about it. This 1C0DE94183566 issue is annoying.
