Old SIM card in new phone
I am using AT&T prepaid $0.35/min plan on a Motorola phone, and I plan to switch to a new smartphone and use the old phone with Wi-Fi only. Can I buy a new smartphone that is unlocked or locked to AT&T and just move my current SIM card into it? Will it connect to AT&T services without having to ask customer service for support? Thanks.

Yes, you can move the SIM card to the new phone presuming your current SIM card is the right size. There is no need to contact customer support unless there is an issue. If you get an unlocked phone just make sure it is compatible and supported on ATT’s network.
