flip 2, favorite vs. unfavorite apps, reordering on screen

bought att cingular flip 2 prepaid phone for person with alzheimers, need to simplify

att store refused to help, says they don't know anything about it because it's a junk walmart phone

it you pick an app from the screen, you can change it from favorite to unfavorite (orange dot)

can you hide the unfavorite items, or at least reorder so the favorite ones are at the top of the screen?

thank you, been through all the tutorials, printed out the huge manual.even asked an expert cell phone programmer who lives in china to help.can't find any reference as to why favorite/unfavorite exists or what it does.beyond frustrated and saddened.planning on donating phone to senior group and can celling my own at&t iphone account.if at&t can't support something on which they put their name, why sell it?
