eSIM with prepaid
So I've read a response on the forum where it said it's possible to have an eSIM with a prepaid account, but I'm getting conflicting answers. I currently have a prepaid plan on a separate phone with a physical SIM. I want to put this prepaid plan on another phone that already has a physical SIM card, so i would like the prepaid plan to be on an eSIM on the phone. Is this possible? The guy at the store didn't seem to want to give me the time of day, and the phone support guy said it wouldn't be possible.

Hi there @toolboy7,
Thank you for getting back to us!
Do you have a compatible device? In order to be able to purchas an eSIM you would need either a iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR. To activate your eSIM when purchased:
1. Go to your phone settings.
2. Tap one of the following (what you see depends on the device you have):
Have a QR code printed on an AT&T eSIM card, follow these steps.
Hope this helps!

Greetings @toolboy7!
While AT&T eSIM cards are available for purchase only in an AT&T Store, we advise, if it's at all possible, to please request the assistance of another Store representative in that store or visit another AT&T Store to purchase your eSIM.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Hello @toolboy7,
We can definitely answer that question for you. You can absolutely use an eSIM card with AT&T PREPAID service. SIM kits for eSIMs are not offered though, so please be sure to get just an eSIM instead of an AT&T PREPAID SIM kit. You can follow the steps at this link to Learn how to get a replacement SIM or eSIM card. The eSIM activation card will come with a QR code and directions to activate it. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

You have to have a compatible phone, which currently is one of the iPhones that has an eSim.

I am unable to order an eSIM online since the prepaid accounts are on a different site than the wireless accounts. The store is saying that it isn't possible, and won't let me buy one, so I'm still unsure how I'm supposed to get an eSIM and activate it with my prepaid account.

I do have a a compatible phone, but the primary SIM is Verizon. The phone is unlocked and will work with AT&T. The only way i see to order an eSIM online is by signing into a regular AT&T account. The store doesn't want to sell me an eSIM, so that's the dilemma...i can't buy an eSIM.
