error C500200000005 when trying to change sim card

I have the ipad unlimited data $34.99 auto renewal plan.

My auto pay went through on March 31st, on the morning of April 1st, it would not connect. I kept getting a disconnected service message.

There was some indication online that this might be a bad sim issue. So, I purchased a new SIM card, went into my "ipadlanding" account, selected "change device settings" and input the new sim card number, only to get error: C500200000005 as it is now, I have paid full price for a service I haven't been able to use, and there seems to be no remedy.

contact At&t that plan was terminated in February and is no longer available. at&t mat be screening those who are on auto renewal to make sure you are using the sim in a tablet only.

yep, found out they shut off a bunch of these plans. Great form for during a pandemic when a lot of people are working from home. Especially amazing of them to charge a full month then shut it off the next day. Needless to say, I won't be continuing with any company that would treat people that way.

These plans were shut off way before COVID 19 was a concern. I tried to get it in January.

Not all of them. Like I said, mine was actively working until April 1st, and my mom's was active until April 6th. Great since it was my only internet connected device, and working from home is now impossible.
