We can point you in the right direction to discuss our AT&T discount program, @keith53.

As @skeeterintexas@formerlyknownas, has given some starter information about our Affordable Connectivity Program. The ACP is a federal government program that provides a benefit on AT&T services for eligible households up to:

  • $30 per month
  • $75 per month (on qualifying Tribal lands)

Customers can have only one ACP benefit per household (not per person), from any provider. Eligible AT&T products include:

  • AT&T Internet (AT&T Internet, AT&T Fiber, DSL/DSL Direct)
  • AT&T Prepaid Wireless
  • DataConnect Pass and RV Data plans (Session Based Pricing)
  • Cricket Wireless
  • Fixed Wireless Internet (FWI)
  • AT&T Postpaid Wireless

Customers must have eligibility approved by the federal government and you are able to visit www.affordableconnectivity.gov or call 877.384.2575

We hope this information provides more clarfication. Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

That's not exactly how it works. The government is paying for your service.

(nothing is free, someone else pays.  In this case, tax payers)

They pay $30 for cellular or internet

It's called ACP, affordable connectivity program.

Welcome to the Forums ! You're one stop away from activating your AT&T service! Allow us to direct you where you'll receive guidance for enrolling in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

The AT&T ACP Center will verify your application by the federal government for ACP and enroll you in the ACP Benefit. When you have spare time give them a call at 866.986.0963.

Hours of Operation:

  • Monday - Saturday: 8 A.M. - 10 P.M. ET
  • Sunday - Closed

If you have additional concerns with your enrollment be sure to ask them.

Should you need us in the future, feel free to pop back up. You're always welcomed!

Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community!
