AT&T Prepaid Device with Current Plan
I'm going on vacation and don't want to bring my current iPhone. I would like to buy a cheap flip-phone (already ready for AT&T) and put my SIM in that (the SIM size is compatible). The problem is that the phone I'm looking at is "prepaid", and I don't want to get on a new plan. Can I buy it without a plan and put my current SIM in there without hassle?

Or just buy an unlocked phone from Best buy.
FYI most of those cheap prepaid phones will not work outside North America. If you're going to Europe and Asia, you will have a useless phone.
iPhone SIM will not work in a smartphone you'll have to have a different SIM provided.
Trust me when I say you need to do a little more research on this
