been trying to contact att as I was sent the i phone 8 and not the 8 plus. Clearly a misunderstanding that I want remedied asap please. Thank you

Was the cellphone ordered online, in a AT&T store/Authorized retailer, or 3rd-party? Is the cellphone within the 14 day return/exchange policy? Have sent the device back for a return or exchange?
