Why is it not giving me the option to do installments for a new phone

There are a list of reasons you may not be able to upgrade with installments.
Your line is not eligible for installments because it already has installments tied to it and is not eligible for upgrade yet.
There's a history of slow or late payments which can delay your upgrade eligibility from 6 to 12 months.
You haven't overdue bill.
You are at your internal credit rating limit because you have other installments on other lines
