SIM card order cxld for Number not displayed?

I am an att tv customer trying to switch from sprint to att after 15 years.  I unlocked my sprint phone, signed up for a plan, and ordered a sim. Then I received a cancel stating number not displayed.  Please advise. Thank you

Greetings @mjk138ss,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We'd like to help you in regards to your SIM card order being canceled.

    • Have you tried to reorder another SIM card?
    • Did you try going to your local AT&T store for a SIM card?

Thank you for spending a minute to assist.
Yes, I tried to understand the (Edited per community guidelines) cause and resolve by phoning and two hours later I am still uncertain why re-ordering would yield a different result.  Could you advise the issue?  If nothing has changed, why would I expect the order to go through the 2nd time?  The $250 to switch incentive is online only.

You're welcome, @mjk138ss

We're sorry to hear that your order was canceled.

Keep in mind to successfully complete your port-in request the names and address must match, and when placing a new order for equipment too the names, service, & billing address must match or the order for new service may be canceled.

You can get the best deals online. However, if we are unable to verify your online order you may need to visit an AT&T Store and bring along your ID to place a new order for service.

Thank you for the opportunity to assist you. Please let us know what you decide to do.
