POLL: Problems after Lollipop update? SHAME SHAME
First of all, I LOVE my Galaxy S5! But................
After this lovely Lollipop update that was supposed to be super delicious, my phone started heating up even when I wasn't using it, it got super hot while charging and taking 4 1/2 hours to charge up 5%.
I am a little electronicly savvy, so I did the usual troubleshooting. Bought a new battery and also ended up resetting to factory settings three times.
I called ATT on Tuesday. After chatting about everything I have tried, she told me to call Samsung and said, 'We've been sending customers to Samsung if the usual troubleshooting doesn't work. They will have you download Kies 3 and reload all the software.'
Soooooooooooooooooooooo, I had a web chat with Samsung support last night. We went through the usual troubleshooting. After that, he said that he would submit a repair ticket and the turn-around would be around 11 days before I got my phone back, or I could contact my provider and run it through insurance. WHAT?
First of all, I didn't ask for this update and I didn't ruin my phone. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY?
I am very disappointed in the run-around I received from both ATT and Samsung.
