Phone locked, no response to unlock request, FCC contacted

I will be honest, I am enraged. It has been two weeks and there has been no response about my unlock request, whether approved or denied. I have not gotten a single email about it.

I have contacted the FCC and also an employee at the AT&T office of the president. It has been 5 days since then, and my phone is still locked.

All bills have been paid, the phone has been paid for in full, and I just received my last bill with the amount of $0.00 as the balance. There is no reason that my phone should still be locked.

This is outrageous. I only hope that my experience can help deter anyone from financing or purchasing a phone through this company.

My device has now been unlocked by a kind manager filing an escalation.

I stand by my opinion that 2 weeks is an unreasonable amount of time to be without a phone, and that it should not have taken a complaint to the FCC to resolve it.

I don't think I will ever finance a phone directly from a carrier ever again, and especially not AT&T.
