No numbers available
When I first moved to Florida two months ago I looked at new phone number options and saw a very long list of available numbers. Now when I try to change my number to a Florida number, it says none are available anywhere. This is frustrating.

We're here to assist you with changing your number Bahelveston.
You can go into a store to change your number, since the website isn't allowing you to do so. Keep in mind that the numbers are based on what's available at the moment.
Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Well the good news is there's no need to get a new number. I know people who have moved all over the United States ever since cell phones became a thing, never changed their number. There are people who live in my town currently who have numbers that are not local to my area because they have moved.
The only reason to get a local number when you move is if you are running a business in need a local number. If you have two step authorized anything with your cell phone number, which you should, you're going to run into huge problems when you change your number. Even your IRS tax submission may be tied to the number you currently have.
If you have resolved all of those issues, and are absolutely sure you want a new phone number. Go to what corporate store. The list of available numbers will be more generous at a corporate store then they will online.
