New wireless phone promotions

A year ago from this upcoming January 2017, I was in the process of upgrading my cellular service at Verision Wireless when my stopped me to show me the promotion from At&T for a $500 credit from switching carriers and upgrading to an iPhone 6. I jumped on it like a fool thinking a large company like AT&T would not be ripping people off. I signed up with a heafty down payment and sue enough, recieved my iPhone 6s in te mail with return potage on the box to send in my qulaifying iPhone as asked for as part of the deal. The only thing I have recieved since is bills. I never recieved any credits what so ever from AT&T. alost a year later after numerous attempts to try and resolve the issue all I have recieved is run around after run around. They have refussed to send me back my iPhone 5 and have been suckered into paying full retail price on a iPhone 6s. The only thing AT&T has given me is a very expensive bill every month. They are very good at that and excel in taking my money. I feel like I have been stem rolled over by a very large company that could care less about supposedly excelent customer service. I feel like a fool. Sure would like my iPhone 5 back that they stole from me.

Whenever I've received a new phone from AT&T, the label that came in the box was to send that phone back not to turn in some kind of special offer rebate. Unless this was some special label different than the 5 phones I've received in the mail, this might have been confused some home....

That's my experience, I'm not sure exactly what your offer was or how you got it  (in store or on-line).

Yes there was a lable to attach to the shipping box. I called and they ackoleged they recieved it and said at that point it would take two to three billing cycles to process. It never processed. Period.

Yes theu included a shipping lable to send in my existing phone which I did not buy from them. It was a promotion for $500 towards the purchase of a new iPhone upgrade for switching to their service. I even called and they ackowleged recieving my phone and that it would take two to three billing cycles. That never happened. Period..--

Did you have direct TV?

The $500 offer was for Direct TV customers to switch to ATT wireless.  $300 was for switching, $200 was for trade in on a previous phone and buy a new one with Next installments.  The entire offer was predicated on you being a direct TV customer.

There was also a $300 offer that did not require TV service

The promotion started in August 2015.  I do not have the date when it ended.  My memory, which may be incorrect, is that it ended in mid December when the BOGO offer began.

I suggest you contact ATT by message through the forum here >> @ATTMobilityCare.  They have record of all promotions and dates.

It was also supposed to be available to u-verse customers which my wife was. She talked me into the offer that AT&T was offering her so I switched from Verision. This was all done on line via chat help.

The copy of the offer from ATT newsroom.  It does mention Uverse.  Are both wireless and Uverse in your wife's name?  No mention of the expiration date for the offer is in the offer other than "limited time".

That was the deal. Yes it was under my wifes name, hence it was a new line switched over from Veriizon into her name.
