LG G Flex 2 upgrade device software

Hello community,

I would like to update my ATT LG G Flex 2 (H950) phone to the latest phone version (Android 5.1.1) as per:

http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB426907&cv=820

I've been trying to trigger the update process manually with no luck so far. Getting pretty annoyed.

If there are any ATT technical staff on here who would be able to push the update to me, I would be greatful. I can provide my gophone acc # privately.

Thanks

Are you using the phone on ATT?

ATT can only send OTA updates if you are using ATT with an ATT SIM card.

You can call and put in a ticket.  I got an update the next day by doing so.

I did and the ATT Rep told me to call LG. I contacted LG and was told it can only be update OTA by ATT. I can not believe that I need to put in a ticket for an OTA firmware update.
