Issue tracking device returned for AT&T NextUp

I did an online in-store pick up for an upgraded device through the NextUp program. The AT&T store gave me a printed return label. I got packing and shipped it out on September 15th. I lost the photo I had of the tracking number on the label they gave. I still haven't recieved confirmation and it's saying if they don't recieve the phone by October 29th I will be responsible for paying the remaining balance. I've spent forever on the phone with customer service who can't provide any information other than they still haven't received the phone. I do not want to be charged for the remaining balance of something I shipped out on September 15th. I gave it to the mailman at my work and watched him scan it in and everything. Which I know probably was a mess up on my part by not going to the post office directly. The only proof I have right now is the camera footage of me handing it to him and him scanning it lol. Is there anyway to either get a copy of my tracking number from the at&t store I did the pick up, find out if my package was lost in transit, or get any type of idea where or when it will arrive? It's just been over a month since I've shipped it and I am getting worried. Am I just totally screwed on this? Lol
