Either go to a corporate store, or request a mailer.

Read carefully.  Follow directions.  Make sure your trade-in phone is fully charged and turned off, and reinforce the packaging as needed.

Read the promotional requirements carefully.  Those are on the sales page for the phone you bought.

We are here to provide you with all the information you need to know to trade in your device, @Mernala!

You can trade in your device with us online!

The AT&T Trade-in program allows you to turn in your old wireless phones and other devices to receive credit from AT&T for the value of the device or as part of an AT&T device offer. With our quick online process, it's fast and easy!

Just click start now and search for the device you are trading in and follow the prompts.

After completing your trade in online you will:

  • Get an email with details on how to send in your old device.
  • Your pre-paid shipping supplies will arrive within 10 business days.
  • Send us your old device within 30 days of activating your new one.

Before you ship, Make Sure You:

  • Reset the phone to remove all of your data, text, and pictures, and passwords.
  • Remove the SIM card.
  • Take pictures of your device, front to back.
  • Take a picture of the tracking number.
  • Return the device within the offer window. Not returning your device voids the AT&T Trade-In Offer.

Want to know the status of your trade in? You can track the status of your trade in using our tracker by entering your email address and your confirmation number.

Let us know if this helps!
