Has AT&T stolen your trade-in too?!?

Hi,
I've been trying to get my account credited for an upgrade I did over a year ago.  Since in an excellent condition iPhone 8 for a 12 Pro when it came out.  I sent it back with the return info and stuff in the box.  A week to week and a half later, I received a return kit from AT&T.  Didn't know I wasn't supposed to follow the directions I got with the new phone for returning mine to them.  I've called and chatted about this numerous times and each time it seems to get worse.  I feel like AT&T does this on purpose hoping you'd give up and they get a phone for nothing, i.e. stealing phones.  Anyone else have this problem and have contact info to something that can actually resolve this???

So after entirely too many calls, I eventually got someone that did something (only tooks months of do so after posting this).  Sometimes I was told it would take X weeks and it should be done, then nothing would happen.  The last person got it done though.  AT&T credited my account, so I didn't have a monthly bill for several months.  DON'T GIVE UP--that's what all these greedy mega corporations want you to do!

Unfortunately, you sent your trade in phone to the wrong location. Many people did the same thing. Since it’s been over a year, it may be too late to fix but others got their issue handled by escalating to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you. They have the power to resolve, no guarantee they will.

I suggest filing with the FCC over the BBB. Here's the link:

Good luck!

I filed a complaint with the

Better Business Bureau. With all the info i had and how i wanted it resolved. Then a person named Africa called me from the At&t presidents office. But, it was a slog go get my refund. And, be honest with i felt they were stealing my trade in and their excuses were total (Edited per community guidelines). &n(Edited per community guidelines)p;

you sent it to the right place they want you to just quit and not go after what is rightfully yours. Corporate At&t are thieves and liars.
