Has AT&T stolen your trade-in too?!?

Hi,
I've been trying to get my account credited for an upgrade I did over a year ago.  Since in an excellent condition iPhone 8 for a 12 Pro when it came out.  I sent it back with the return info and stuff in the box.  A week to week and a half later, I received a return kit from AT&T.  Didn't know I wasn't supposed to follow the directions I got with the new phone for returning mine to them.  I've called and chatted about this numerous times and each time it seems to get worse.  I feel like AT&T does this on purpose hoping you'd give up and they get a phone for nothing, i.e. stealing phones.  Anyone else have this problem and have contact info to something that can actually resolve this???

Unfortunately, you sent your trade in phone to the wrong location. Many people did the same thing. Since it’s been over a year, it may be too late to fix but others got their issue handled by escalating to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you. They have the power to resolve, no guarantee they will.

I suggest filing with the FCC over the BBB. Here's the link:

Good luck!
