Can I swap an upgrade with a line on my family plan?

Hi, I have a question about swapping upgrades. So, my upgrade is due on May 26th of this year and another line in my family plan is due now so I want to swap upgrades. That line takes my May 26th upgrade and I take that lines upgrade for now. Can this be done? Will I be able to keep my number? Please answer. Thank you!

When you log into your att account online down the left side of the page you have notices for upgrade eligibility. click on view upgrade options for the corresponding phone number, then click transfer eligibility. Follow instructions on the page.

Yes, you can use another lines upgrade and keep your number. The only thing is that the upgrade goes on their account and on that date. The upgrade is line specific but the phone does not have to be used on the line used for the upgrade.
