Can current customers pay monthly for an expensive phone?
My dad is the one who is a customer at at&t and my phone is part of the plan that he pays for, so it's under his name. I wanted to get a new phone-switching from android to iphone-and I was looking through at&t online and saw that some can be paid monthly such as $15 per month. Are those phones only for new customers or can current customers do the monthly payment?

your dad would need to do it if your eligable for an upgrade and it would be charged to his bill you cant walk into a store and say i want the 15 dollar payment for that phone

Any postpaid customer can buy a phone on a payment plan but phone deals are only for new lines. Existing lines will pay full retail price for whatever phone they select.
