Transferring Digital Life Service

I was wondering if anyone could help me understand why it is that when you move and want to transfer your service you basically have to start over with a new contract and equipment? Can I at least utilize the old equipment in addition to the new? Thanks

@D.Noe1 Hello. It is because it is establishing new service at a new address. You sure can bring some of your old equipment to use in addition at your new home. We have lots of customers bring their cameras, thermostats, door locks, sensors, etc to their new home. Just ensure that whatever you bring, it is there for the technician to install/pair at the time of your installation.

Why is it that I moved into a home with Digital Life installed (equipment left behind) and I have to purchase a new package just to use it?

@armigedon Hello. It is establishing new service  and it requires a new main box. Also, cannot guarantee that everything needed was left behind by the previous customer.
