Tech Damaged HVAC during Thermostat Install
During install of the Digital Life system, the tech failed to disconnect power on the HVAC unit prior to attempting install of the thermostat. This caused damage to the transformer and control board in our HVAC unit. Repair cost $850. Attempting to file a claim with AT&T to get reimbursed for the repair but am unable to get the process for filing a claim. I have been calling into the CS group and have been passed around to Billing, Field Support, and Tech Support for over a week now. How do I file a claim for damage repair?

Thanks for the prompt response on getting this resolved! I now know where to submit the claim and have the right people working on it! I really appreciate the focus and direction from the CS team and the escalation to get things moving! Great Job!

New York City HVAC company Thermostat Installation did a major mistake while installing new thermostats. Techs damaged a duct while installing the thermostat. It was a complete mess and many hours later, the techs were still not finished.
