Need System Repair

I called ATT Digital Life Customer Service on August 26th to complain that my system was offline and kept reading "system upgrade in progress."  Although the gentleman who answered the toll free number was very nice and polite, he told me the earliest appointment  I could get was SEPTEMBER 18th! You read that right, September 18th...I would have to wait over 3 weeks for repair for something that is supposed to give me and my family a sense of security.  I was told that I would be put in "a pool" for priority scheduling if an appointment became available.  I called today to see if they could move my appt earlier and was told that I could do tomorrow (while I was at work) and I said I was unavailable.  The next opening was SEPTEMBER 13th!  A whole 5 days earlier.  I get faster repair service from Verizon or DirecTV, two services not essential to my sense of security.  Rumor has it that ATT is getting out of the security monitoring business.  With customer service like this, it won't be too long before that happens.  I will be shopping around for another security monitoring company.

I worked with AT&T online all day on August 27th and have the same issue of my system is offline, spent a couple of hours with representative in attempt to correct the issue.  The attempts were unsuccessful and was given an appointment of SEPTEMBER 14th, which is not acceptable.
