Employee digital life move order

D

I am an AT&T employee, I am attempting to move my digital life service to my new home, they are trying to change me $350 and new equipment at the new house, employees and customers were told that if the equipment is owned there would be no charge to move service, policy was changed and now I have to run credit and pay more money to set up, seems like a way to just get a new account activation.

Can someone help with this ?

employees go through concessions not regular support.

Your Digital Life service is essentially tied to the location. If you move locations it will require a new contract and term of service.

what is the phone number for concessions ? Or how do I contact them? I do not mind a new account or contract but I was told I would not pay for new equipment or installation in such case that I had to move to a new home.

@Bernmac88 you have to go to HR one stop emails and phone numbers are scrubbed in the forums as soon as posted, but as long as digital life has been around ive always been told that the equipment stays at the house and cannot be transfered to a new address unless this has recently changed

I understand the equipment can’t be moved but it was disclosed that to move service equipment wouldn’t require purchase again and it would be moved for free.

@Bernmac88 Hello. In Jan of 2018, the move policy was changed that to move it would be the cost of the package that the customer/employee has. The cost for Smart Security is $349.99 for the equipment and to be installed. And does require a new contract and credit check.
