Are customers responsible for battery replacement?

When I first signed up for Digital Life, the technician advised me that I wouldn't be responsible for replacing batteries in any of the equipment.  He said I just need to call into customer care and that a tech would be sent to install new batteries.  After searching the forums, that doesn't appear to be the case.  Was I advised incorrectly by the installation technician, and are customers really responsible for replacing their own batteries in things like the door and window sensors?

I would say call CS and see what they say.  Wont hurt to ask.

@dcman7

Replacing batteries should be done by the customer. I apologize for the information you received. However, if you have a technician out for another issue they can and will replace any needed batteries at that time.
