Looking for a solution other than Bluetooth from smart phone to a desk phone. Hoping to find a 1 device (sim
card desk phone) solution but all seem to be GSM or 2G.

No. ATT shutdown their 2G network years ago.

Perhaps if you explain better what you're trying to do we might have another solution that actually does work. A sandblaster said 2G is gone it shut down in 2017. 3-g is in the process of being shut down and we'll finalize no later than February of 2022.

So you need a corded, cellular phone, because of no landline service, corded, so it can't get lost,, does that sum it up?
