What is the difference between the two insurance plans that I have on my account?

I have two insurance plans on my bill?

Protect Advantage Insurance for 4 and Protect Advantage Support Services for 4. I've tried unsuccessfully to find details for each on the website and I suspect I may be over insured.

You probably have noticed that those two charges added together total $45. That is two separate services one provided by asurion the actual insurance company and the other one is support services and upgraded insurance options provided by asurion and at&t.

You get ProTech support, battery replacements, and a bunch of other fringe benefits that aren't offered with basic insurance. (AT&T of course no longer offers basic insurance) If you have iPhones, Apple Care Plus with loss and theft is still a better buy.
