Unlock Request

I made a device unlock request 8 days ago and it is still in progress.

Is there any way to expedite the process? (Or at least make sure if it is in progress as planned?)

My device is iPhone8 and I'm a prepaid user (I purchased my device with cash - Fully paid, Purchased in Aug 2018)

@iosvsandroid It was iPhone8, my mistake. I checked my prepaid account and found there is no issue. Thank you for your reply

You said the unlock is in progress, but you also asked how to check on progress? That's contradictory

Are you saying you have not received an email saying your phone is unlocked?
Did you receive the email to verify your email address and follow the link to do so?

My bad. I mean, is there any way to know why the (Edited per community guidelines) it takes so long.

I received an email saying my request is in progress.

But it has been in the same status for a week.

As of February 11, no carrier can deny a request to unlock a users' phone, once the two-year contract is paid up. This past August, President Barack Obama signed the Unlocking Consumer Choice and Wireless Competition Act into law, finally making it legal once more to unlock your phone.Feb 11, 2015

@iosvsandroid you need to read the fine print
