Unknown Device synced to my phone

I have several phones on my family wireless account. When I am online on the ATT app and go to my device - my own cell number- options and settings - manage number sync - click on synced watches - there is a picture of a phone and it says unknown device. I do not have a watch synced to my phone or any other device. I have asked ATT for help and they are no help. Any ideas?

If you do not have a watch or a tablet that is set up with number sync to spoof your phone number, you should not have numbersync on your line at all.  When you speak to support have you asked them to remove this feature from your phone line?

When I chatted with ATT online I was told that it was an old device from the person who had the phone number before me and it would be taken off.  That was in December.  It is still there.  They obviously have no clue what it is or how to take it off.

Yeah someone's blowing smoke up your skirt because that's not possible.   It's just not how numbersync works.  I suspect whoever you spoke with had no idea what they were talking about so they made that up.   

Call AT&T back, 611 from your phone. As soon as you are connected with the phone tree and they ask you why you're calling use the keywords cancel service. This will send you directly to the loyalty department. When you connect with a loyalty department explain to them that number Sync has been enabled on your line and you want it removed because you do not have a synced device.

Hi , we are here to help you manage your synced devices online!

 

We recommend navigating to:

  1. Your account overview, then open the My wireless section.
  2. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose your device.
  3. Select Manage my device.
  4. Choose the device you want to remove NumberSync from.

If this doesn't work, let us know the make and model of your device and we'll pull you in to private to take a look at your account.

In fact, deleting Apple number sync isn't even an option under my line, as it is under my other family members who have apple phones.
