Unknown ATT ERROR IN MY TV AND I DONT HAVE DIRECTV

Anyone know what this means?:

CoreBluetooth error: Unknown ATT error.

I’ve been feeling like my tech is all hacked and I was surprised to find this error coming from my tv when I scanned Bluetooth signals. Also I do not have directv I just stream through comcast and have ATT cell service only. Please help me out everyone

This isn't the TV forum, and not direct TV

@formerlyknownas Yeah but “CoreBluetooth error: Unknown ATT error“ and the only ATT service the OP has is cellular kind of suggests it’s related.

@Johnsmith916916 Is your cell phone the only ATT service you have? Try turning Bluetooth off on your cell phone and scan again. If you don’t get that error, that should at least narrow down where the error is coming from.

ATT is the abbreviation for several things, including:

Bluetooth 4.0, which includes the Low Energy specification, brings two new core protocols: ATT (Attribute Protocol) and GATT (Generic Attribute Profile). They are mainly targeted for Low Energy, and every LE profile is expected to use them. But they can also be used over "vanilla" Bluetooth (BR/EDR).

Unless the (admittedly problematic) ampersand is in there, it doesn't necessarily mean the company AT&T.  And I don't think it means AT&T here.

Leave the Bluetooth off on your phone and then scan. Do you still get the error? However, as noted above, that ATT error does not mean AT&T.

We want to help address your concerns regarding your Bluetooth, @Johnsmith916916

As @JefferMC and @sandblaster mentioned, the error you're receiving may not be AT&T related. We recommend trying to establish a Bluetooth connection with another device to see if you receive the same error.

If not, you will need to contact either Samsung or Google for additional help with this matter.
