Turning Off ATT Backup Sync Error Message

I did not request nor do I want AT&T Message Backup & Sync but lately, each time I open the messaging app for mail, I am getting an error message that there is a problem and the process cannot be completed. I have tried everything I know to stop or cancel it but nothing is working so far. I even logged into my att as was suggested but cannot find an option. Can someone please help me? The pop-up is very annoying. Thanks in advance.

Hi @GodHead4Life, let's take a closer look into how you can remove AT&T messages and cloud storage.

Follow the steps listed to remove this option from your account.

DETAILED STEPS
From the myAT&T app
  1. Go to your account overview and open the My wireless section.
  2. Scroll to Manage device & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage.
  3. Choose Manage device & features and select Get or manage add-ons (under Manage my devices).
  4. Find Messages Backup & Sync, then select Remove.

From myAT&T
  • Go to your account overview and open the My wireless section.
  • Scroll to Get or manage add-ons and select Let’s go. If you have more than one device, choose the device you want to remove Messages Backup & Sync from.
  • Find Messages Backup & Sync, select See details, and then select Remove.
  • Repeat these steps to remove Messages Backup & Sync from another device.

We hope this information helps, and thank you for reaching out to the Community.

This doesn't work for my prepaid plan. I go to the website and I have no such option to turn off in the add ons.
