If I am transferring my number and they asking for a password/code, where do I find that at?

Hey @dmillerbogan, we want to help you find this passcode, so you can transfer your number.

The passcode you're referring to is called a Number Transfer PIN, and it's needed whenever you port your number into or out of AT&T. If you have AT&T service and you're looking to port your number out, then you can find your Number Transfer PIN in one of the following ways:

Online with a browser:
1. Go to your MyAT&T profile.
2. Choose People & Permissions.
3. Select Wireless.
4. Scroll to Transfer phone number and Request a new PIN. The Number Transfer PIN will be displayed on screen.
Using the MyAT&T app:
1. Sign into the MyAT&T app.
2. Go to your profile, and select People & Permissions.
3. Scroll to Transfer phone number and Request a new PIN. The Number Transfer PIN will be displayed on screen.
From your AT&T device:
1. Dial *PORT, and enter your account passcode. You'll get a text sent to you with your Number Transfer PIN.

Keep in mind, this is only for postpaid service. If you have PREPAID service, then you won't need a Number Transfer PIN. Additionally, if you're transfering your number to AT&T, then you'll need to reach out to your current provider for the Number Transfer PIN.
