I have a line on my plan that is not being used. Can I use this line for a trail camera?

Thank you for reaching out! You should be able the unused line on your account for your trail camera, though you may want to change service on that line to a data only plan. You may also need to go into an AT&T Store to make sure you have the right size sim for the camera.
Have a great week.

Hi! I’ve been searching the forums for information about these trail cameras. My husband bought 4 Spartan GoCams that are connected by AT&T. I currently have accounts for Fixed Wireless and phone lines through AT&T but was wanting to add a mobile hotspot and these 4 cameras. What would be the best options for me? Thank you!
What trail camera do you use? Because as I know most of the trail cameras do not use the electricity from the line always, most of them have a battery that works at least a few months without charge so you can install the cam out of the city and get some nice shots from wild forest remote. I personally own one Moultrie A-25 which is one of the best trail cameras in my opinion. Besides being a pretty durable device, this camera runs on 8 AA batteries that can power action up to 17,000 images. So if you do not have a cam yet pay attention to it. There are many good reviews on the internet.
