TABLET SAMSUNG K88 TREK 2 HD - How do I keep this on while playing music??? Turn off in 30 min even w charger

Hi

Is there any way to keep this from tuning off after 30 minutes of playtime? That is the maximum that you can keep this on...

Its a great player and I'm using Media Monkey also when I do use this its has the charger plugged in.

There has to be someway around this?

My smartphone I can keep on while playing music why can this? :-(

Sams goes when I listen to the internet radio ( YourClassical.org) station, the player promptly turns off in 30 minutes!

Can the screen be shut down and music be played for more then 30 minutes?

Check the tablet's battery optimization settings for the app that you are using. I had the same problem with Pandora, battery optimization was turning the program off after 30 minutes
You will have to set your music program to be an exception to the battery optimization

Thanks that did it!!!

Works great, cal listen to the internet radio and even the screen now turns off and the radio stays on as long as I like!

One last question, I listen to

https://www.yourclassical.org/

That site does not offer a Apk in Google play so I can only save that as a link on the tablet. So since its not a APK I can not set the battery optimization for it.

Anyone know of any workarounds?

Let's look into those settings for you, @escorial!

 

It's advise that you check the Settings in the browser of your choice for those battery optimization settings.

 

Apart from the device and app, that's the only other place you're likely to find those options.

Allow us to assist with your tablet's screen. We want to advise that you may want to try lowering screen backlighting, closing background browsers, and reduce network activity while using that particular app.

 

Additionally, if your device is idle there appears to be no way to extend screen activity time beyond the 30 minutes limit as that specific feature is essential to saving battery life and securing your personal information.

 

If you have set an unlock pattern, PIN, or password for your tablet (see Personalizing – Protecting Your Tablet With Screen Locks pg.20), you’ll need to draw the pattern or enter the PIN/Password to unlock your screen.
