Sony Xperia TL unlock problem

Hi folks

I bought Sony Experia TL from ATT and want it unlocked. I placed a request and was denied. Not sure what kind of horrible system they have.

Can someone help me ? I am sure i am eligible for unlock as i paid the full price of the device.

@abmiman, please visit Unlock your AT&T wireless phone or tablet for a complete list of eligibility requirements.

Hope this helps!

Hello @abmiman

Have you used this phone on an active AT&T account for a minimum of 60 days (post-paid) or 6 months (pre-paid)? What was the reason it denied your request?

In order to qualify for an unlock you need to meet all (not any) requirements. Do you have an active AT&T account? Your phone might need to be provisioned on the account first.

Thank you,

Dmitriy

Well , i had a Go Phone ATT connection but discontinued as the network was
virtually absent in myhome. It's an old stock and I paid in full so i
don't understand why do i have to do through this ordeal .

I plan to take ATT connection in future but currently need to use this
phone with other network and hence i believe my request should be
considered even if as an exception else it is of no use to me.

I currently don't have an ATT connection. Please let me know how to get the
phone unlocked. thanks

Hello @abmiman

I apologize for any inconvenience. At this time AT&T can only unlock devices for users that meet the unlock requirements.

Thanks,

Dmitriy
