Sim won't allow connection to 4g regardless of device.

I have a secondary sim card on my account that completely refuses to let any device it's in connect to 4g. I've checked and it is a 4g lte compatible sim card, but the most that I get is hspa+.

What phone was it used in? If it was provisioned and used in a 3G phone, it wont get LTE.

Get a replacement Sim at an at&t store.

Make sure the phone is at&t compatible.

It might be possible to just provision it over the phone. Years ago when I went from a 3G phone to a 4G phone I was able to just call AT&T and get all the provisioning done without getting a new SIM.

Hi, @Jaimee_1,

Thanks for reaching out. Are other on the network devices connecting to 4G when devices with the other SIM will not? If so, then @lizdance40 is correct. You'll need to go into an AT&T Store to replace the SIM card.

Have a great week.

It finally worked, but i dont know why. The sunday after i posted this i went and got a new sim, but it was still having the same issue even in my oneplus 7 pro which always gets voLTE on at&t.

But when i get home from work the device it was intended for finally was getting 4g.
