Sim card switch

I have a straight talk IPhone 6s that I wanted to put my at&t Sim card into and it's telling me that I need to remove the device from my current at&t account so I can add the Sim card to it. I'm just co fused cause it shouldn't be on an account cause it's just a tracphone from Straight talk brand

TracFone and Straight Talk are two different carriers. If you have not unlocked the phone from your previous service provider it may not work with a new service provider.  Neither TracFone or straight talk has anything to do with AT&T other than those businesses resale AT&T services.

To use your device on another carrier, please make sure it is unlocked and not active on an AT&T account as @formerlyknownas stated. Sign In your account to update your device. Unlock your device for AT&T locked devices and check out our device unlock requirements.
